      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review and code denied professional services for accurate CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, HCPCS, and Modifier usage
      - Analyze rejected claims and patient inquiries, recommending appropriate coding corrections
      - Monitor accounts receivable (A/R) days and identify denial trends for management reporting
      - Establish relationships with third-party payor representatives to resolve claims issues
      - Participate in departmental meetings to discuss coding denials and education

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma or equivalent
      - CP (Certified Professional Coder through AAPC), CPC-A (Certified Professional Coder - Apprentice through AAPC), or CCS-P (Certified Coding Specialist Physician Based through AHIMA) certification
      - 2 - 3 years of experience in billing, coding, or denial management
      - Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
      - Excellent judgment and problem-solving abilities

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with CMS guidelines, quarterly CCI Edits, and Medicare Bulletins
      - Experience in a healthcare-related coding or billing environment
      - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
