What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide essential support to the outsourced billing provider, ensuring accurate and timely filing of claims
- Resolve claims and coding-related issues while maintaining accurate patient accounts
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the claim life-cycle process
- Follow up on accounts receivable and claims to ensure prompt resolution
- Document workflows and maintain communication with healthcare professionals
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of remote work experience with a strong work ethic
- Two years of experience in billing operations within a healthcare facility
- Clinical knowledge to effectively communicate with physicians and healthcare staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop positive relationships
- Strong experience with healthcare software and ability to comprehend general instructions and memos
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Billing or coding certification
- Experience with both medical and dental billing
- Associate degree in a relevant field
