      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Submit insurance claims and follow up on resolutions for commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and patient accounts
      - Manage patient account collection efforts, including generating statements and making payment arrangements
      - Monitor and pursue delinquent accounts to ensure timely payments
      - Ensure billing practices comply with organizational, payer, and governmental regulations
      - Maintain accurate and ethical billing processes to support the organization's mission

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of two (2) years of medical billing and/or outpatient claims experience
      - Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT medical billing codes
      - Familiarity with insurance billing, including Medicare and Medicaid
      - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
      - Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients and insurance providers

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in medical billing/coding and an Associate's Degree in Health Information Management or a related field
      - Relevant certifications such as CCA, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA, CPC, COC, and/or CPB
      - Bilingual in English and Spanish
      - Familiarity with eCW software and optometry billing practices
      - Additional experience in patient account collections
