      We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting accurate revenue cycle processes and ensuring timely reimbursement for healthcare & therapy services.

      You would be responsible for accurate claim submission, payment posting, denial follow-up, and insurance communication related to services provided. This role works closely with clinical teams, front office staff, and leadership to ensure clean claims and strong financial performance.

      Responsibilities:

      • Review documentation for billing accuracy and completeness
      • Submit insurance claims in a timely manner
      • Post payments and reconcile accounts
      • Investigate and resolve denied or rejected claims
      • Communicate with insurance companies regarding authorizations, eligibility, and claim status
      • Work patient accounts including balances, adjustments, and follow-up
      • Ensure compliance with payer requirements and coding guidelines
      • Support productivity and revenue cycle reporting needs
      • Collaborate with clinic teams to improve billing workflows


      What you will need:

      • Experience in outpatient physical, occupational, and/or speech therapy
      • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and payer-specific billing requirements
      • Understanding of ICD-10 coding, claims submission, payment posting, denial management, and reimbursement processes
      • Familiarity with outpatient therapy regulations and guidelines
      • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently
      • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and billing software systems
      • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across clinical and administrative teams
