What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create shop drawings for mechanical, civil, and structural systems for construction projects
- Ensure accurate and clear conveyance of design and drafting concepts on drawings
- Complete drawings, create BIM models, and maintain VDC standards and processes
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to facilitate project success
- Review design and construction documents and advance global BIM/VDC initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction science, architecture, or a similar field with 2+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in creating BIM/VDC models and updating them with current construction documents
- Strong knowledge of Revit Software and Autodesk software
- Fundamental understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
- Effective communication skills with the ability to discuss projects with customers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Waterworks experience is highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent presentation and writing skills
- Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
