What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create, manage, and populate design and construction models using Revit and other software
- Conduct clash detection tests to assist project teams with coordination
- Generate design and construction documentation for structured cabling projects
- Lead communication between VDC, design, and operations teams to resolve project issues
- Attend meetings and provide updates to management regarding project status
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Revit or other VDC software
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Bluebeam Revu or other PDF management software
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience with electrical, control systems, or low voltage design
- Working knowledge of Navisworks for visualization and clash detection
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
- Experience mentoring junior staff members
- Familiarity with construction, engineering, and procurement industry standards
