      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Lead and execute analyses of microbial genomic, microbiome, and epidemiologic datasets
      - Develop and refine analytical pipelines for studying antimicrobial-resistant pathogens
      - Integrate microbiome and molecular epidemiology frameworks to study pathogen fitness and resistance
      - Utilize bioinformatics and machine learning to build risk models and surveillance tools
      - Collaborate with principal investigators and external partners on data curation and analysis

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 5 years of professional experience
      - Demonstrated experience analyzing genomics and/or multi-omics datasets
      - Proficiency in R and/or Python, with knowledge of Bash or similar scripting environments
      - Experience in high-performance computing (HPC) environments and version control systems
      - Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative research environment

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - MS in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field with 5+ years of experience, or PhD with research productivity
      - Proven record of peer-reviewed publications, including first-author work
      - Strong understanding of microbial genomics and ecology
      - Experience training students or staff in bioinformatics methods
