      We are seeking a Sr. director to lead the Business Line RF Processing Functional Safety Manager. Join our team of experts in developing cutting-edge technologies that make cars safer and more secure. As the manager of a team of Functional Safety architects specialized in hardware, software, and system, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of safety across the business line.

      As a Business Line Functional Safety Manager at NXP, you will facilitate communication on Functional Safety topics with customers, suppliers, standardization boards, and ISO 26262 auditors and assessors. You will also drive improvements and compliance for above standards as an integral part of our team. We encourage candidates of all genders to apply.       Responsibilities:

      • Lead a team of functional safety managers and architects, supporting the development of ADAS
      • Define the safety architecture of future automotive radar, ADAS, infotainment platforms
      • Define the safety architecture of future personal health appliance
      • Define and maintain ISO 26262 compliant processes
      • Identify, report, fix safety deviations
      • Drive a safety culture that promotes continuous improvement in Functional Safety

      Requirements:

      • 5 to 10 years’ experience of people management
      • Master of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering
      • 10 to 15 years of industry experience
      • Experience in ISO-26262
      • Comfortable working with project organizations compliant with ISO9001, IATA 16949
      • Minimum of 3 years' experience in architecting, designing, and validating functional safety systems in the automotive industry

      Qualifications:

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English)
      • Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment
      • Ability to enroll technical and business stakeholders, including internal engineering teams, customers, and ecosystem partners
