What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver direct supervision to Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) while managing a small caseload
- Regularly review and interpret data collected in sessions, modifying individualized treatment plans as needed
- Provide supervision through team meetings and observations with staff and families
- Consult with families regarding treatment concerns, behavior modification, or staff issues
- Engage with children actively, which may include physical activities such as lifting and crouching
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with special needs
- Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies, learning theories, and ethical regulations
- Proficiency in Office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ABA software platforms
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs and engaging in active play with children
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in applied behavior analysis in a clinical or educational setting
- Familiarity with a variety of behavioral intervention strategies and techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with families and children
- Additional certifications or training related to behavior analysis or special education
- Experience with data collection and analysis in a therapeutic setting
