- Manage employees including, developing, coaching, setting goals and discipline when appropriate.
- Will work to conduct the branch with a high degree of professionalism.
- Coordinate/manage sales and rentals with outside sales, shop and warehouse personnel.
- Work to resolve any outstanding issues to the mutual satisfaction of the customer/employee and the company; work to resolve any customer concerns.
- Coordinate referrals and leads to the appropriate Outside Salesman.
- Learning how to utilize company operating system (Texada) to maximize all aspects of branch performance.
- Respond to customer’s questions about our products and services while providing solutions to their needs.
- Create and manage proposals/quotes, rental contracts and sales invoices.
- Assist Fleet Dept with Purchase/Disposal of equipment.
- Coordinate equipment deliveries and pickups with dispatcher.
- Coordinate service calls with shop.
- Maintaining a clean, well stocked, presentable showroom with support from purchasing.
- Generate activity reports as requested by senior management.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast paced service environment.
- Excellent communication skills and excellent customer service.
- Strong problem solving skills along with timely decision making ability.
- Working knowledge of operating capabilities of Construction Rental Equipment, as well as construction materials and their application.
- Excellent phone, written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills to include Microsoft office.
- A high-school diploma of Grade Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required for this job. Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred.
- Previous Management and Sales experience preferred.
Overview
The Branch Manager works with Senior Management and with Department Managers to ensure all rental, sales, and service transactions are expedited, efficient, cost effective, safe and are profitable transactions. The Branch Manager will effectively coach/direct all operational aspects including excellent customer service, administration, and sales (both inside and out). This role is also responsible for effective people management including developing, coaching, performance management and discipline, in line with branch and company policies and programs. The Branch Manager will be expected to grow the revenue in the branch in line with fiscal and operational goals.
Pay Range: $60k-$95k depending on experience. This is a bonus eligible position.
