      General Description of the Role

      As the Brand Manager (BM) for our Wild Turkey Bourbon Portfolio, you will be the driving force behind a core strategic focus for Campari America, delivering impressive growth to a range of products that deliver incredible quality to our consumers and important performance to the Group. Led by the brilliant heritage, storied liquid and commercial power of the Wild Turkey brand, this is an opportunity for a highly visible role that can dramatically shape the future of this portfolio. This role requires a dynamic, culturally curious, individual who can work in ambiguity and provide simple solutions to complex problems.

      You will be responsible for building, leading, and activating the 360’ programs, with management responsibility on areas such as paid, owned, and earned media, consumer events, partnerships, and innovation/renovation implementation projects. You will also be close to the commercial and competitive dynamics of the business, source consumer and market-level insights, generate learnings and analyses to improve impact of activities, lead the assessment and recommendations on local pricing and positioning, and be responsible for the brand P&L in collaboration with the finance team.

      Working collaboratively with cross functional local teams, global teams and multiple agencies, the Brand Manager for our Wild Turkey Portfolio will be a strong collaborator and able to align multiple internal and external stakeholders on the strategic vision and executional plans.

      The ideal candidate will understand business and brand building in CPG in the US, have a strong commercial mindset and can influence and shape local consumer communications connecting plans across the different marketing touchpoints.

      Responsibilities

      Marketing Strategy & Execution

      • Leads the execution of Brand Planning and Strategy across all areas of Brand Management to deliver value, volume and market share growth goals while building short and long term brand image and equity
      • Diagnoses opportunities and key issues facing the brand/portfolio and develops multi-year strategies to address these
      • Works closely with the Senior Brand Manager and Global Strategic Marketing teams to develop key marketing initiatives and platforms that deliver against the brand strategy and positioning
      • Works closely with the Senior Brand Manager to lead the annual integrated marketing and communication planning, serving as local brand owner to ensure consistent brand strategy and visual identity across all marketing touchpoints
      • Develops media strategy recommendations while optimizing ROI

      Product/Program Development and Execution

      • Leads consumer activation plans across advertising, digital and social media, public relations, special events and sponsorships.

      • Works with external agencies, internal support functions, Global and creative partners to develop and implement advertising and creative content plans.

      • Manages all aspects of product development initiatives using Campari’s innovation gate process (i.e., testing, insights, business case modeling, etc.) in partnership with our Global Strategic Marketing team.

      Cross-Functional Execution

      • Works with our partners in Global Strategic Marketing, Channel & Customer Marketing, and Sales to ensure that brand building activities brought to life remain on strategy.
      • Proactively manages and analyzes the brand’s P&L including pricing analysis, promotional strategy, SKU management, and managing your A&P budgets to ensure efficiencies in the annual plan and adherence to annual budget phasing plans.
      • In partnership with Channel & Customer Marketing, Field Marketing, and local Sales teams, identifies opportunities for portfolio or geographic expansion, leveraging the brand growth model to achieve goals.
      • Works with our Commercial teams to ensure that 360’ program execution is laddering to the strategy, executional excellence is being achieved at every touchpoint, KPIs are being set, tracked, and reported, and recapped, and that program evaluations include key learnings for optimizing future activity.

      Requirements

      • MBA preferred; BA/BS required.

      • 5+ years in brand management in Premium-Luxury CPG category (spirits/alc-bev preferred but not mandatory)

      • Passion for the spirits industry, attention to details, luxury sensibility.

      • Strong understanding of integrated marketing strategy, digitally-savvy, and ability to develop marketing tactics that deliver on brand objectives.

      • Creative, agile thinker who can champion the brand and bring it to life.

      • Strong analytical skills, problem solving and financial/business understanding.

      • Strong ability to effectively present and communicate to leadership and cross functional teams.

      • Ability to build collaborative relationships, influence, and work cross functionally.

      • Can distill consumer insights, competitive and category trends into areas opportunity leveraging strong judgement.

      • Thrives in an environment that is demanding and fast-paced, and able to adapt to changing situations.

      • Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Data Analysis, Syndicated Research (i.e., Nielsen)

      • Ability to travel (30-50%)

      The expected base salary for this position ranges from $129,120 - $161,400. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors and considerations. In addition to base salary and a generous employee benefits package, employees are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
