What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive customer acquisition through door-to-door and community outreach activities to present broadband service offers
- Conduct post-sale follow-up interactions to ensure customer satisfaction and service retention
- Manage communication of service benefits and address customer inquiries to facilitate informed decisions
- Collaborate with sales leadership to align outreach efforts with business objectives and market strategies
- Perform additional duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Less than 2 years of experience engaging with customers in a direct sales or retail environment, especially in telecommunications or consumer electronics
- Less than 2 years of experience presenting and explaining complex product offerings effectively to potential customers
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a target-driven sales role
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills necessary for effective customer interaction
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Sales Professional (CSP) certification demonstrating knowledge in sales strategies and customer interaction
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) certification enhancing skills in training and performance improvement
- Experience with advanced negotiation techniques to secure sales agreements
- Familiarity with problem-solving techniques in sales processes to enhance customer experience
- Strong adaptability to modify sales approaches based on varying customer needs and market conditions
