What the day will look like The Financial Services Broker Manager II is responsible for executing Aon Broking industry vision to build a coordinated broking platform that drives efficiency and value for all industry stakeholders: our clients, Aon colleagues, and those strategic Insurance Carriers that chose to join us in our journey to excellence. Management of a $MM Management Liability Portfolio. Responsible to develop, implement and execute growth strategy which is aligned with the Greater NY business operation and the Eastern Region. Detailed knowledge of the existing and prospected business within the segment. Structured Portfolio Solutions development and field utilization Developing and managing Insurance Carrier relations specific to the segment. Bespoke Broking and participation in Large Account Reviews. Detailed knowledge of the market dynamics within the segment. Team Excellence. Financials, metrics and Broking Level management. Effective Communication to team members as well as all internal and external constituents. Responsible for traveling to clients located throughout the United States. Periodic travel to Bermuda and London will be required. Skills and experience that will lead to success. Minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial services industry Team management experience, preferably over a broad geographical area Proven collaboration skills enabling the candidate to successfully lead broking teams and leverage thought leaders in pursuit of greater client, carrier and Aon outcomes Strong oral presentation skills and the ability to clearly articulate complex messages in written form Involvement in the transaction of insurance for commercial risk/middle market companies A network of carrier relationships, carrier references required Strong negotiation skills Experience using management reports to identify opportunities and impact results Consistent achievement of assigned territorial or practice goals Track record of successful recruiting of high-performing talent Strong work ethic Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Pay Transparency Laws The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $180,000 - $280,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
