Serve as the primary client contact for coverage consultation, service issues, and routine client visits to ensure strong relationships and proactive risk management.
Manage the entire renewal process, including strategy meetings, coverage limit decisions, marketing coordination, and overseeing renewal proposals.
Negotiate renewal and new business quotes with carrier underwriters to secure optimal coverage terms and pricing for clients.
Develop, implement, and manage written service timelines and calendars, ensuring adherence to commitments and alignment with client expectations.
Conduct client meetings, prepare agendas and materials, coordinate presenters, draft meeting notes, and support sales and retention efforts alongside producers.
Advise clients on coverage and risk exposures, review contracts and policies, negotiate with carriers to address gaps, and ensure comprehensive protection.
Audit sales executives’ books for potential coverage gaps, research coverage issues, and work with carriers to resolve client needs and expectations.
Oversee financial monitoring, including tracking expiration lists and receivables, ensuring financial goals are met, and facilitating collections when necessary.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a senior commercial account management role (typically 10+ years total insurance experience)
- State property & casualty agent’s license.
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Typically holds multiple insurance designations.
- Is considered a subject matter expert in one or more areas (e.g., Builders Risk, Construction.)
- Full proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Agency management systems expertise (AMS Sagitta preferred)

Salary range is $105K to 115K per year.
