What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead BAS field teams in installation, startup, commissioning, and closeout of building automation system projects
- Direct and monitor subcontractors, ensuring effective scheduling and resource management
- Execute troubleshooting of BAS systems and participate in commissioning efforts with stakeholders
- Provide project communication and reporting, including daily updates and progress reports
- Support engineering and business development efforts by providing input on estimates and attending project bid walks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or a related discipline, or two years of relevant experience
- Minimum of five years of hands-on installation, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of BAS controls infrastructure
- Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems, and BAS platforms such as Distech Controls and Tridium Niagara
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate technical and non-technical information to clients and team members
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with low voltage cable terminations and controls wiring
- Familiarity with analyzing and interpreting AE construction drawings and BAS shop drawings
- Certification for NFPA70E and/or OSHA training
- Experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies in operational processes
- Proven ability to work successfully in a remote environment
