What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and assess existing data sources and systems to identify threats to data validity and reliability
- Collaborate with various divisions and stakeholders to develop actionable recommendations
- Conduct training materials reviews, stakeholder interviews, and shadow data source users
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to evaluate system problems and propose solutions
- Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: Master's degree in business administration with a concentration in information technology, or Bachelor's degree in computer and information technology or related field
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects
- Proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of data warehousing
- Experience conducting data source/system reviews and analyzing data validity and reliability
- Strong project management and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5 years of experience conducting threat or risk assessments
- Experience working in state government or large public-sector organizations
- Familiarity with health, behavioral health, or human services data systems
- Experience validating data for reporting, performance measures, or compliance
- Experience presenting findings to leadership or executive audiences
