      In compliance with applicable State regulatory authorities, vaccination for COVID-19 and Influenza (flu) is mandatory for all MSK staff who do not work 100% remotely (including new hires ).       Job Description

      MSK is seeking a Business Analyst to join our dynamic Operations Engineering team in Development.

      The Business Analyst has a crucial role in analyzing and advancing our CRM system functionality and other software applications serving MSK Development. They will work closely with users, senior leadership, Development Operations staff, and our vendor partners to seek out and implement standard methodologies and process improvements across Development.

      The Development Operations team is responsible for the technical infrastructure and business operations that support the Development Department. We aim to improve MSK’s fundraising potential through the creation of innovative technology and process solutions. Professional growth, continuous improvement, and collaboration are all critical to our success.

      You Will:

      · Analyze the business needs of application users and recommend solutions to respond to those needs

      · Assess current workflows and functionality, find opportunities for improvement, and partner with all collaborators to implement enhancements

      · Develop business requirements for system enhancements and customizations. Ensure clarity of expressed needs with users and developers for the requested outcome

      · Test and validate system functionality for customizations and application upgrades

      · Provide users with advanced application and business process support

      · See opportunities for data hygiene improvement within Blackbaud CRM, and engage in data integrity projects

      · Understand system capabilities and business requirements, and drive solutions

      You Are:

      · Expert at building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions

      · A good decision-maker with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward

      · Able to work effectively in an environment notable for complex and rapidly changing information

      You Need:

      · 2-4 (or more) years of experience in business systems analysis

      · Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project lifecycles, and the ability to ensure the solution delivered matches the business communities' needs

      · Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills: an eloquent and effective communicator able to describe complex problems and solutions in understandable terms; ability to frame communications to a diverse set of team members

      · Strong collaboration skills while working with authorities, senior leaders, and business users/collaborators to drive business analysis/user requirements

      · Good experience in negotiating scope and priorities, balancing and advocating for successful outcomes

      Nice to have:

      · Be able to write basic - medium complexity SQL queries

      · Experience using Blackbaud CRM, Luminate Online, or other fundraising and relationship management software

      · Experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and SharePoint

      This will be a remote position with the option to work from our NYC office.

      Pay Range $78,900.00-$126,200.00
