- Analyze requirements for business-critical Initiative. Facilitate requirements gathering using JAD sessions, user interviews, and developed process flows to capture the business process and document in use case / User Manual and/or design document.
- Use the experience on public safety domain (will be plus) to provide correct outcome and documentation.
- Analyze the requirements to integrate the new workflows (new requirements) with existing system and business processes.
- Perform data analysis and data profiling using SQL on various sources systems including Oracle, MS SQL etc.
- Analyze the data migration requirements by understanding source data & business requirement for the target system.
- Conduct Software Product demonstration iteratively to update the client on the progress and seek validation on the requirements. Conduct deliverable walkthroughs with the client and facilitate approval of the deliverables.
- Use Jira (or similar tool) for the defect management and risk management and traceability (RTM).
- Create custom RTM using JASPER and/or Power BI reports.
- Write test cases and build test data for requirement verification process.
- Prepare training material and conduct training either in-person / classroom or on-line with business / end-users.
- Provide updates / prepare status report on the workstream related to project activities.
- Explain business requirements to technical lead / Developers for better design, development and solutioning keep end-goal in mind.
- Good verbal and return communication and must be a good team player.
Position /Role
Business analyst and Quality Assurance (preferrable with justice and public safety domain)
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's' degree - preferrable with computer science, Computer information System, Management information system or any related courses.
Experience
6-8 years Minimum
