- Lead and manage the implementation of strategic business development initiatives
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to increase yield and support long-term growth.
- Monitor market trends and drive ongoing innovation to identify and manage new revenue opportunities.
- Degree qualification in Business, Tourism, Marketing, or similar with extensive management experience at a senior level
- Considerable practical experience or skills training would be required to effectively control key aspects of the job
- Demonstrated knowledge of practices and procedures required in the Tourism Industry
- Demonstrated forecasting, financial analysis and budgeting skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and high level experience in marketing principles
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of advertising print production, social media, E-mail and internet software

The opportunity
As Business Development and Marketing Manager you will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing and business growth initiatives to increase visitation, boost revenue, and ensure the long-term sustainability of the Beachside Holiday Parks (BSHP) at Fingal Bay, Shoal Bay, Halifax, Thou Walla Sunset Retreat and the Port Stephens Koala Sanctuary (PSKS).
The position reports to the Holiday Parks Section Manager and contributes to the success of the businesses through expert promotion and product development.

This is a temporary opportunity for a 12 month period – working full-time working 35 hours / week + access to a flexible working arrangement
Base Salary Range: $103,938 - $122,275 pa based on 35 hours / week + 11.5% superannuation + $18,619.19 motor vehicle allowance + $2,312 retention allowance
