      The Position

      You will be leading and managing our business development activities, ensuring the continuous initiation and development of partnerships. There will be no direct references to this position.

      Your responsibilities will also include:

      • Establishing and developing partnership models
      • Engaging with potential partners with whom we co-create new products
      • Scouting, evaluating, pursuing, facilitating, and/or supporting partnerships with external partners for commercial purpose
      • Establishing, managing, and optimizing contracts
      • Researching emerging trends within bioprocessing and regenerative medicines
      • Identifying new research ideas that can solve unmet customers’ needs

      Qualifications

      To succeed in this role, you have:

      • Extensive experience in business development, preferably in life science
      • Ability to work effectively across functions and companies
      • Proven track record of building different partnership models and experience in negotiations
      • Strong stakeholder management skills and a positive mindset
      • A master’s degree or PhD in Natural Sciences or business
      • Fluency in English

      The Business Development Director has excellent communication skills and must be a great inspiration and motivator while having a high personal drive, integrity, and self-motivation. In this position, a high focus on developing long-lasting partnerships is in focus and we, therefore, need an accountable candidate with high standards for business ethics. Furthermore, you have strong analytical skills and a high degree of initiative to drive the development of sales.

      About the Department

      The Sales & Marketing department consists in a Sales Team, Marketing Communications, Strategic Marketing, Customer Support and Commercial Excellence. We embark on a growth journey, deliver in a global context and work with around 300 Customers. The product portfolio is a mix of existing and upcoming products, and we work in a B2B environment, where many of our customers are large pharmaceutical and biopharma companies.
