KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Establish relationships with project managers, operations leaders, and executives at offshore customers to discover their true needs and sources of value.
· Deliver a re-invigorated offering to the Sales team capable of countering Tenaris and growing market share.
· Manage the tempo and priorities for R&D development and qualification.
· Drive discussions to improve value proposition, including partnerships, joint ventures, and M&A.
· Accelerate the implementation of Cleanwell production in NA.
· Work closely with internal stakeholders and customers to identify elements of our offering that need to be improved, lead improvement efforts, and interface with stakeholders to deliver improvements to the market. Internal interfaces include OCTG Sales, D&I, NA marketing, and others.
· Utilize project management, value proposition, and customer experience methods to analyze, track, manage, and communicate progress.
· Perform other tasks to improve Vallourec’s position in the market as necessary.
· Design, coordinate, and execute new projects aiming to increase revenue
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CERTIFICATIONS
· Degree in technical and/or commercial field required
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in management/technical/commercial capacity
· Commercial, corporate strategy, and/or marketing experience in the energy industry preferred
· Pipe, thread manufacturing, or quality experience preferred
· Lean manufacturing, 6-Sigma, continuous improvement experience & knowledge preferred
· Project Management experience preferred
