Job Description

- Target and acquire clients to achieve set objectives in sales, revenue, in accordance with Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Due Diligence(CDD) requirements. Delivered in a way that adheres to client experience standards and within operational risk requirements.
- Engage Potential and existing clients via various lead sources
- Financials – Sales, New Sales Revenue
- Productivity – Sales Volume and Value
- Controls – Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) call back results, Sales Error Rates, Completion of Mandatory E- Learning, satisfactory audits and Control Sample Testings (CSTs)
- Always adhere to the set branch service standards.
- Ensure the delivery of high quality service to customers
- Attend to and resolve customer’s complaints or feedback promptly
- Sales Activities
- Receive leads from leads management system
- Attend presentations and sales activations
- Set up appointments with customers
- Remain alert to the risk of money laundering and assist in the bank’s efforts in combating it by adhering to the key principles in relation to: Identifying your customers: know your customer; reporting suspicious: safeguarding records and not disclosing suspicions to the customer
- Adhere to CDD, AML and TCF principles and policies
- Zero tolerance on fraud and mis-selling
- Attend all required training
- Ensure all Group Control Requirements as stipulated under Group policy are observed and also adhere to CRM (Compliance Risk Management) by assisting in compliance with local regulators (Bank of Botswana) and all regulations, policies and procedures as laid down by the bank and group and all regulations, policies and procedures as laid down by the bank and group.
- Trained in combating money laundering
- Ensure all controls are working effectively as required by group standard and control matrix in order to avoid regulatory breaches
- Sound knowledge of general banking law and practices
- Experience in lending propositions preparation/processing
- Adequate management and office administration concepts
- Competence in financial accounting /forecasts
- Ability to plan daily /periodic operations
- Strong interpersonal /communication skills
- Sales targeting
- Monitoring and reviewing sales performance /analysis
- PC skills and able to operate Ebbs

- Degree in relevant subject plus 4 years experience in branch banking
- Certificate of Proficiency in Long term/short term insurance
