Develops and maintains an understanding of the hospitality sector, the sub sectors and how the sales approach may differ by prospect type.
Actively seeks out and generates leads and opportunities through proactive outreach, including smart calling, and responds to inbound queries.
Conducts discovery calls and meetings to understand a prospect’s requirements and their fit with IndiCater, knowing when to pursue an opportunity and when to pass.
Effectively manages all prospect communication and expectations and provides timely and engaged feedback to develop and nurture relationships.
Delivers products demonstrations aligned to the needs of the prospect, both in person and via Teams.
Documents activity through pro-active use of our CRM and provides accurate/timely updates through established forecasting process and conversations.
Prepares and presents proposals, presenting solutions to the challenges identified during discover, to successfully secure new clients.
Works well with colleagues across departments to maximise the sales effort and to become a valued member of the team.
Collaborates closely with the marketing team to develop and refine our value proposition, provide strategic feedback, and contribute to the creation of impactful sales enablement content.
Prioritizes work effectively by setting clear deliverables and completing stated expectations with internal and external stakeholders.
Continuously seeks to develop/refresh market knowledge and provides timely and effective feedback as an internal subject matter expert.
Performs other duties as assigned.
- Minimum A level or equivalent education
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of successful related work experience
- Proven track record of planning, managing and exceeding assigned sales goals
- Proven track record of pipeline growth
- Experience of working in Hospitality is preferred
- Experience with SaaS products and business models is preferred
- As IndiCater is a remote company, this role requires the successful candidate to work from home. Some travel to quarterly team meetings (Reading area) and to prospect meetings is expected. Occasional travel to Volaris (UK and abroad) maybe be required.
Job Summary:
The role of Business Development Executive is a newly created position created to optimise growth. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing, the Business Development Executive is responsible for growing our pipeline of leads and opportunities, building relationships with prospects and achieving sales targets within the UK hospitality industry.
