      To join CLEAResult as a Business Development Manager. In this role, you will generate new business opportunities, build strong relationships with prospective clients, and collaborate closely with internal teams to advance opportunities through the sales pipeline. You will also develop and maintain valuable industry connections to stay ahead of market trends, new technologies, and emerging legislation that impacts our work.

      As a key ambassador of CLEAResult, you will leverage your expertise in energy efficiency and the utility sector to guide client engagements, shape innovative solutions, and support the development of regional strategies. This role also leads proposal development efforts and works cross‑functionally to ensure cohesive, high‑quality business development execution. The position requires nationwide travel of approximately 20–30%.

      • Execute provincial/territorial business strategies to drive growth and meet objectives.

      • Provide clients with industry insights to inform innovative solutions.

      • Identify and manage business development opportunities aligned with regional goals.

      • Support development and execution of regional strategies to expand market presence.

      • Apply energy efficiency expertise to guide opportunities and client engagements.

      • Lead proposal development, coordinating inputs and ensuring timely, high‑quality submissions.

      • Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.

      • Monitor market trends and competitors to uncover growth and differentiation opportunities.

      • Serve as a trusted advisor, delivering customized solutions to client needs.

      • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver cohesive business development strategies.

      Exciting candidates will have…

      • 4–8 years’ experience in the Energy Efficiency or Utility sector.

      • Post‑secondary education in Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, or Business Administration.

      • Experience with Canadian energy efficiency programs or utilities.

      • Ability and willingness to travel within Canada.

      • Strong relationship‑management skills, especially with utility clients.

      • Program management or delivery experience is an asset.

      • Bilingual English/French proficiency is an asset.

      • Must reside in British Columbia, with preference for Vancouver or Victoria.

      Targeted Salary:

      $110,000-$120,000

      Compensation Range

      $94,250.00 - $157,080.00
