      The Role

      In a nutshell, you’ll be the go-to Skaler for all things Sales. The goal is to be an integral part of our new business growth to support Skale strategically, reach our revenue goals and help build the sales function and future team to manage. Help Skale scale!


      We have a strong funnel, and we need a great business development person to help us turn more great leads into great customers. We want you to arrive hungry to test and iterate on our existing methods, and be super-driven to consistently exceed your KPIs, including prospecting, pitching & closing new customers.

      What you’ll do:

      • Own inbound leads process - proactively qualify and reach out to schedule calls
      • Hold discovery and proposal calls with prospects
      • Collaborate with our outbound partner to turn leads into clients
      • Match our prospect's needs to Skale's core services and pricing plans
      • Present consultative SEO growth proposals
      • Negotiate contracts + close new business
      • Manage deal flow in our CRM (Hubspot)
      • Collaborate with internal marketing team
      • Own the handover process between sales and operations
      • Report on deal status to management via weekly meetings
      • Work strategically with management to support GTM strategy, deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities/challenges, and provide recommended solutions


      Our Ideal Candidate will:

      • Possess exceptional critical, strategic thinking, and time management skills
      • Be a skilled influencer and maintain executive presence on prospect calls
      • Have polished communication skills; ability to drive a conversation with executives and C-level decision-makers
      • Come with 3+ years of experience in service-based selling (preferably digital marketing services) offering a consultative approach
      • Have a proven record for managing a pipeline and converting MQLs
      • Show passion and experience in researching and building business cases around identified opportunities (size of the market, potential sales, revenues, etc.) to close deals
      • Be proactive and have a propensity towards action. We like short meetings and making stuff happen. Ambitious!
      • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
      • Reside in a country within European business hours (GMT to GMT +3). You will need to be registered as a freelancer in your country of tax residence.


      Nice to have’s:

      • Active LinkedIn account
      • Experience in an Agency environment selling SEO and/or Digital Marketing services
      • Knowledge of the SaaS industry


      What we offer:

      • Base salary + commission + on-target bonus.
      • ️ Home office role. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week). Given the nature of the role, we will potentially expect you to meet prospects IRL and join marketing events, where appropriate, within Europe.
