      About Us:

      We are unique in that we offer on-site medical and psychiatric management and care combined with intensive individualized psychotherapy, making our center of excellence a great alternative to traditional hospital settings. We integrate personalized nutritional support and best practices treatment in a real-life, comfortable setting. Our state-of-the-art eating disorder treatment programs and setting are designed to create an environment of structure and support for restorative treatment.

      Our eating disorder treatment programs in St. Louis, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas provide a continuum of care, specialized to provide the right level of support to optimize recovery. Many start with our 24 hour Residential or our signature Extended 10 hour Partial Hospital offered 7 days per week. For those with significant outside support or feeding structure at meals, for optimal recovery we also provide traditional 6 hour Partial Hospital Program and 2 different types of Intensive Outpatient Program. Transitional Living is available for those from out of town to take advantage of our step-down options. Transitional Living has staff support 7 days per week. Family programming and Outpatient Services round out our continuum of care.

      Responsibilities

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

      • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and maintain key business development partnerships.
      • Identifies, contacts, visits and follows-up with physicians, therapists, schools, universities for networking opportunities and tracks outcomes and results.
      • Establish new and maintain existing referral relationships with eating disorder clinicians and treatment facilities, hospitals, universities and schools, psychologists, psychiatrists, dietitians, and other potential key sources throughout assigned territory.
      • Calls on all potential referral sources (physicians, hospitals, medical and behavioral health agencies and providers, educational organizations, etc.) and build quality relationships that will result in referrals for McCallum Place.
      • Maintains positive, active and open communication channels across departments and throughout the referral community to support marketing strategies.
      • Maintain referral contacts via personal notes, email, face to face meetings, texts and utilizing marketing opportunities on a regular basis
      • Takes action to resolve any PR concerns
      • Demonstrate ability to plan, coordinate and implement assigned business development and marketing events.
      • Identifies key community events, within an assigned territory, for networking opportunities and conference participation.
      • Responsible for planning, preparation, execution, and follow-up of all territory events. Responsibilities include organizing travel arrangements and coordinating all promotional and collaterals materials that will be need for each event.
      • Create regional events including, but not limited to, CEU workshops.
      • Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate facility tours
      • Demonstrates ability to gather, track, and examine market data to determine marketing opportunities, issues and possible outcomes. Create and provide comprehensive reports of information gathered.
      • Effectively analyze the tactics and strategies that increase call volume and admissions.
      • Input and Maintain referral source agency database (i.e. Salesforce
      • Submit documentation of all conferences and marketing activities.
      • Research and manage marketing opportunities including sponsorships and speaking engagements for the clinical staff
      • Communicates regularly with referrals, marketing team members, intake and admission, and McCallum Place leaders as directed by Director regarding organization marketing and business development needs.
      • Actively participates in team meetings.
      • Assists staff in understanding marketing goals, as well as providing support to all McCallum Place staff that represents the company at marketing events.
      • Communicates in all aspects of the business development phase including initial referral process, maintaining communication when referral source’s patient is in treatment and throughout the discharge process.
      • Effectively use oral and written communication to convey market and competitive intelligence to internal and external customers.
      • Assist the Manager of Digital Media with maintaining and updating content across owned and earned social channels. This could include blog posts, tweets, status updates, pins, photos and videos.
      • Additional Duties and Responsibilities
      • Complete other duties as assigned by Director of Business Development.
      • Travel 25% required.

      Qualifications

      Education and Experience Requirement

      • A Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare, marketing, business administration, or related field or equivalent work experience. Master’s Degree in human services field preferred.
      • Minimum one year experience working with individuals in a clinical setting, and 3 years development and execution of Marketing Strategies in a behavioral health environment.
      • Three or more years of experience in marketing, public relations, health promotions or sales developing new territories, target markets and/or customer base, preferably with Behavioral health experience.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication.Crisis intervention and problem solving skillsAnnual Tuberculosis test required, initial screening due within 14 days of hire.
