      We are actively looking for a passionate Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team to help inform the direction of HealthDyne Business through data, at scale. Successful candidates will be comfortable creating and optimizing table structures, identifying KPIs that drive the business, generating reports for those KPIs that are consumed across the Business organization, analyzing data to inform strategic and tactical initiatives, and writing up the findings from analyses for less-technical audiences. Strong SQL (any implementation) is a must. Scripting skills, and background in operations is extremely valuable. This is a highly visible role that partners with business, product management, operations, and the technical team.

      Essential Duties and Responsibilities
      • Design, implement, and support a platform providing ad hoc access to large datasets.
      • Manipulate/mine data from database tables (ex. Redshift, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) using SQL and ETL.
      • Manipulate/mine data from log files, spreadsheets by writing scripts (ex. PERL, Python, UNIX).
      • Develop analytical tools: deep-dive tools, UIs, metrics, and dashboard.
      • Perform deep-dives and root cause analysis to answer business questions.
      • Work with cross functional stakeholders in defining the source of truth and obsessively making sure the data fidelity is high.
      • Effectively communicate (written and verbal) solutions and methodologies to senior leadership.
      • Work with engineering teams to enable the appropriate capture and storage of data.
      • Complete ad hoc data retrieval and analysis.
      • Monitor existing metrics, develop and propose new metrics, and identify new, actionable risk signals.

      Education and Experience
      • 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
      • Experience with data visualization using Power BI, Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
      • Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
      • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
      • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
      • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
      • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

      Work Environment / Physical Demands

      This position is in a typical office environment which requires prolonged sitting in front of a computer. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment including operation of standard computer and phone equipment. May have occasional high stress when dealing with customers/clients. Some travel may be required.
