Job Description

- Build and maintain annual operating budget and forecasting templates for multiple organizations
- Identify and implement methodologies to improve forecasting accuracy
- Gather input and guide organizational leaders and stakeholders from conception through creation of the annual budget
- Work with project and program managers to ensure the forecast aligns with the annual operating plan/roadmap
- Present the annual budget to senior financial leaders for approval
- Collaborate to resolve any barriers to budget approval
- Lead monthly and quarterly re-forecasting exercises and report updated forecast to financial leadership for approval
- Update budget and forecasting documents to reflect forecasting changes and coordinate with Finance to ensure updates are loaded into Anaplan
- Controllership of Building Maintenance spend category- tracking spend, intake and approval/rejection of spend requests
- Provide accrual information for multiple cross-functional teams, cost centers and account roll ups to Accounting on a monthly basis
- Lead financial analysis of significant real estate activities: sublease, early termination, new lease
- Collaborate with FinAnalytics team on special projects
- Bachelor's degree preferred and 3+ years of proven experience in a business operations, financial support or similar role, preferably in a corporate environment
- Experience working in and with operational support teams
- Strong finance, analytical, and communication skills.
- High degree of proficiency with Excel/Gsheets and other Microsoft Office and Google Suite systems and programs.
- Experience with Asana, Jira/Jira Align, Mural and Tableau is a plus
- Experience building financial models preferred
- Knowledgeable of the corporate/commercial real estate industry and facilities, hospitality and event planning a plus
- Ability to define problems, analyze data and draw conclusions
- Able to deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.

The Corporate Real Estate and Workplace Operations (CREWO) team works across departments to align teams, optimize processes and implement high-priority projects and programs! They build operational strategies, construct financial analytics and reporting tools that provide insight into the performance of teams that help drive future decision making, execute projects, supervise programs and lead onsite building operations. Business Operations Specialist - Financial Operations sits on the Financial Operations team within CREWO and, as part of that team, is responsible for financial controllership of multiple organizational budgets.About the role
