At its core, RACV is the largest member organisation in Victoria, and we’re trusted to be there for our over 2 million members.

      About the Opportunity

      As a senior member of RACV’s ‘second line’ Risk and Compliance team, you will be responsible for partnering with business areas to foster a culture of continuous maturity and embedment of risk management and compliance across RACV. The role supports the GM Risk and Compliance in developing and maintaining RACV’s Risk Management Strategy, Policy and Framework, and delivering risk reporting, change risk governance, controls review and internal audit planning and co-ordination. The role will also support implementation of the Regulatory Compliance Risk Framework and make a senior level contribution in specific risk domains such as business resilience and fraud risk.

      You will be responsible for;

      • Providing senior level engagement, trusted advice and credible challenge that enables RACV business divisions and management to identify and manage business, compliance and change risk.
      • Contributing to the production of high quality Executive management and Board-level risk reporting and external reporting.
      • Partnering with nominated business divisions and other stakeholders to continuously review risk and compliance controls with the objective of effective and efficient risk management, including by working with RACV’s internal audit partner to propose and deliver the annual internal audit plan.
      • Contributing to the continuous improvement of RACV’s Enterprise Risk & Compliance function through the development of RACV’s risk management policies, tools and technology and ways of working.
      • As necessary, supporting projects for compliance risk reduction or remediation and response to regulatory events or inquiries.
      • Supporting RACV’s inorganic growth by contributing to acquisition and integration activity.
      • Promoting a culture of risk management and compliance through ensuring that staff feel supported to raise concerns and that management respond in a timely and appropriate manner.

      • 5+ years’ experience holding accountability for development and implementation of risk management frameworks in a commercial environment.
      • Having successfully delivered risk management and compliance initiatives under commercial conditions.
      • Possess extensive experience working with and advising senior business personnel on risk management and compliance matters.
