Job Description
- Req#: STN14410
- Ensure that company standard procedures are followed in connection with purchases of materials and services
- Analyze market conditions and trends, process requests for all products and commodities
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and requisitions for prototype and mass production models, follow up and negotiate delivery
- Maintain current and accurate database information, vendor lead times, open purchases, commitments, and shortages
- Update and maintain inventory maintenance within the software system
- Maintain data, prepare reports, and analyze information using software in decision-making
- Support supplier quality engineer in PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) procedure and solving supplier’s quality issues

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

The Buyer will be responsible for purchasing compressor-related materials, equipment, and supplies in accordance with company guidelines in order to satisfy inventory requirements while meeting costing, quality, and on-time delivery objectives and measures. The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $ 53,500 - $81,600 in Virginia . The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
