What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Translate complex 2D floor plans and architectural blueprints into a proprietary digital map format using CAD tools
- Inventory and analyze client-supplied floor plans to identify missing areas and connections
- Digitize spatial features and assign data attributes for 3D rendering and navigation
- Perform quality assurance to ensure digital maps meet high standards of accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with software engineers to provide feedback and improvements for CAD tools
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 7-10 years of professional experience in a technical drafting or mapping role
- Expert-level proficiency with digital drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
- Exceptional spatial reasoning and ability to visualize 2D plans in 3D
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable using modern technology, including mobile apps and tablets
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with facilities management, space planning, or interior design
- Familiarity with GIS concepts and data attribution
- Practical experience with Microsoft Office
- A BA/BS degree in a related field (Architecture, Geography, Design) is a plus
