What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer inbound calls and respond to inquiries from Veterans and their families
- Provide information on VA benefits, services, and programs
- Schedule appointments, document interactions, and route cases appropriately
- Follow established VA scripts, procedures, and compliance guidelines
- Maintain professionalism and empathy in all interactions with Veterans
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to serving Veterans with respect and professionalism
- Bachelor's degree preferred (experience may substitute)
- 1-2 years of customer service or call center experience preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a call center environment
- Familiarity with VA benefits and services
- Bilingual skills to assist a diverse population
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of meeting performance metrics
