What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle inbound calls from providers regarding Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO) and provider enrollment
- Create call tracking notes for each interaction as a record
- Escalate concerns and issues to management as needed
- Collaborate effectively as a member of a team and complete tasks beyond general support level
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve issues independently, escalating complex questions appropriately
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a 2-year post-high school degree or bachelor's degree may be held
- Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in a contact (call) center
- Prior office or clerical experience preferred with the ability to follow written policies and procedures
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products and ability to access and retrieve information using a laptop
- Ability to follow procedural guidelines and work on assignments with limited instructions from leadership
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with call center software such as CxOne or Avaya
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage tasks without detailed direction
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to insurance and healthcare
