What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the employer's mission by serving in the Medicaid Medical Management Prior Authorization Call Center
- Respond to client inquiries regarding prior authorizations and related services, escalating complex issues as necessary
- Resolve client issues through effective problem-solving and timely follow-up
- Meet service level agreements (SLAs) and production targets while handling call and non-call tasks
- Collaborate with team members and assist with cross-training and workflow improvements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in any industry
- Knowledge of basic help desk software and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve inquiries effectively
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for professional client interactions
- Ability to identify the correct stakeholders to consult for resolving client inquiries
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a call center environment
- Familiarity with Medicaid or healthcare services
- Additional certifications in customer service or healthcare-related fields
- Experience with PASRR screenings or personal care services
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets
