What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Initiate and manage incoming and outgoing calls with customers
- Assist customers in improving their financial situations through empathetic support and tailored solutions
- Educate customers on account terms and available payment plans
- Negotiate repayment solutions that align with both consumer needs and business objectives
- Document customer interactions with accuracy to ensure effective follow-up
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in the Windows operating system
- Strong typing skills and customer service experience
- Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in a call center or similar role
- Knowledge of financial concepts and understanding of medical terminology and billing procedures
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
