What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage inquiries and requests in a courteous and professional manner
- Gather information to assess the needs of Service members, Veterans, and their families
- Apply problem-solving skills to resolve inquiries and requests effectively
- Handle crisis and abusive calls with professionalism and efficiency
- Accurately record all pertinent information from calls
What is Required (Qualifications):
- US Citizenship is required
- Minimum of one year of experience in a medical or hospital call center
- Minimum of one year of experience in triage, care management, motivational interviewing, and crisis counseling
- Fluent in English and/or Spanish, both oral and written
- Ability to listen to and empathize with Service members, Veterans, and others
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in handling crisis situations and abusive calls
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage call time effectively
