What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct clinical assessments and interventions using the nursing process and established protocols
- Serve as an advocate for patients and families by coordinating with various healthcare professionals
- Manage service delivery after hours, including patient education and interdisciplinary visits
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans in compliance with documentation standards
- Provide bereavement support and ensure favorable patient outcomes through collaboration with Telecare staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of two years' experience in acute-care hospital nursing (medical-surgical, oncology, home health, or emergency)
- Current Registered Nurse License(s) with no restrictions
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work as a team player while managing multiple tasks
- Knowledge of nursing principles, medical supplies, and relevant state and federal regulations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- One year of customer service or call center experience
- Experience with crisis management and customer conflict resolution
- Proficiency in telephone techniques and etiquette
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
- Certification in hospice nursing when eligible
