Job Description

- Coaching the team to capitalize on cross-selling opportunities, and the process of referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen customer relationships and strengthen internal partnerships.
- Accountable for operational functions of all staff, including maintaining appropriate controls to protect the Bank from fraudulent activity and losses.
- May manage staff at more than one location.
- Maintaining knowledge and educating team on products, services, technology and policies.
- Demonstrates and teaches staff an understanding of all operational procedures and policies within the branch.
- Responsible for ensuring adherence to all operations security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Pursues personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for this position.
- Demonstrates ability to open accounts and complete loan applications.
- Hires, supervises, motivates, evaluates, trains, communicates and effectively develops staff.
- Handles customer correspondence, complaints and inquiries.
- Develops and maintains, new banking and community focused relationships in an effort to generate new business.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to open new accounts
- Understanding of Teller transactions and regulatory requirements
- Successfully demonstrates leading and managing a team
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Financial Institution experience required
- Lending and loan application experience preferred
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Isabella University graduates are encouraged to apply
- Microsoft proficient – Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Displays strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to organize, and manage time
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution abilities

General Purpose:
Serves as the branch leader in order to drive sales and customer service by coaching and developing staff members. Is an active member in the local community by volunteering and assists in business development.
