      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Abstract patient information from various resources, including medical records, and code it into a database
      - Maintain and edit data for accuracy and completeness in line with prescribed protocols
      - Manage record-keeping systems and procedures for clinical studies
      - Collaborate with the Supervisor of Cancer Registry to ensure compliance with relevant standards
      - Assist in maintaining knowledge of clinical trials and updates in cancer registry practices

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School diploma required; Associate's degree preferred
      - Completion of Medical Terminology and Anatomy and Physiology courses required
      - Two (2) years of experience as a Cancer Registrar preferred
      - CTR certification or CTR eligibility required
      - Demonstrated knowledge of clinical trials is required

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Knowledge of standards for the Commission on Cancer (CoC) and National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) preferred
      - CTR certification must be obtained within 2 years of hire or date transferred into the position
