What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify, target, and win new flatbed and brokerage customers
- Build a steady pipeline through cold outreach, networking, and market insights
- Design customer-specific transportation solutions leveraging the company's independent contractor model
- Manage pricing, proposals, presentations, and negotiations to close profitable business
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships to drive retention and growth
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven transportation sales experience
- Strong understanding of freight operations
- Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Four-year degree or applicable work experience
- Experience selling in asset-light or flatbed environments
- Proven record of exceeding revenue goals
