      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage complex capital projects while supervising a team of 2-4 project managers
      - Provide guidance on best practices and process improvements within the Project Management group
      - Support staff development by identifying training and career advancement opportunities
      - Ensure effective communication of project information to stakeholders, including management and external partners
      - Monitor project scope, schedule, and budget throughout all phases of project execution

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
      - Minimum of five (5) years of transportation-oriented project management experience
      - At least three (3) years of supervisory experience managing staff and work assignments
      - Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in public involvement processes
      - Ability to effectively work in a multicultural environment with a diverse customer base

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Registration as a Professional Engineer in the state of Washington
      - Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills
      - Experience in communicating sensitive information to various stakeholders
      - Ability to manage multiple processes with attention to detail
      - Experience in mentoring junior staff or leading training initiatives
