What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Accept incoming phone calls and return calls from patients involving clinical inquiries for responsible providers
- Perform protocol-based triage and route phone calls appropriately in the electronic health record system
- Review daily schedules to ensure all pre-visit preparations are completed prior to patient visits
- Contact patients at risk of "no-show" appointments and assist with onboarding new patients
- Initiate completion of necessary forms for provider review and signature
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High-school level education or equivalency
- Medical Assistant Certification or at least 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting
- Strong commitment to pediatric healthcare and support for children with special health care needs
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Spanish fluency preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with vulnerable populations or in a pediatric healthcare setting
- Familiarity with electronic health records and telehealth practices
- Knowledge of social service resources and community-based referrals
