      The Case Assigner Manager at CACI is a position that directly supports national security and suitability investigations for multiple customers within the Vetting Solutions Division.

      RESPONSIBILITIES :

      • Working closely with program management, the position requires daily spoken and written communication with, investigative personnel, support staff, and management.
      • Responsible for coordinating activities, providing communication to all staff, and constructing special projects as necessary.
      • Focus on policy, implementation of strategic initiatives and execution of day-to-day workload. Establishes or works to achieve, team objectives, operational plans with measurable contribution towards the achievement of results of the job function or completion of a project. Focus is on short-term operational plans (e.g., less than 1 year) and long-term operational plans. Provides measurable input to new products, processes or standards in operational plans that will have some impact on the achievement of overall function results.
      • Responsible for making moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of job area OR may demonstrate innovative influence within a project that has impact and participation from multiple departments.
      • Manages a small to mid-sized team consisting of experienced professionals. Leads, directs and reviews the work of a team who exercise latitude and independence in their daily job functions.
      • Typically, has hiring, firing, promotion and reward authority or ability to recommend and influence decisions within own area, in accordance with manager review and approval.
      • Planning, scheduling, and coordination of department management activities and administrative tasks.
      • Responsible for the overall coordination, implementation and strategic use of overall division resources.
      • Provide coaching and assistance to all staff supporting the project
      • Track, manage, and maintain detailed logs and statistics regarding assignments and workload.
      • Assist in establishment of performance standards for case assigners supporting the division. Provide monthly and quarterly statistics to ensure acceptable performance is maintained for all staff. Conduct regular audits of all performance standards and identify areas for improvement.
      • Oversee and ensure conflict resolution as needed, escalating when necessary
      • Participate in department meetings and be prepared to address or disseminate anything of need concerning policies, procedures, and/or clarifications.
      • Communicate with case assigners to ensure all policy updates are communicated to and practiced by staff.
      • Understand multiple contract assignment requirements to ensure proper workload management at point of assignment.
      • Participate in drafting and implementation of strategies to effect improvements in cycle time.
      • Oversee case assigner work for quality and guideline compliance by assisting with their daily responsibilities, answering questions and helping resolve more complex or difficult situations.
      • Direct work priorities of a team of specialized investigators who identify and handle overwork and assist in rapidly closing high profile or difficult cases.
      • Responsible for assisting in improvements of processes, systems or products to ensure timeliness on all programs within the division.
      • Coordinate with other departments to streamline assignments and reduce overwork through scrubbing measures.
      • Address any integrity, compliance or security concerns that may arise by working with the appropriate department and other key personnel members

      REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Must possess and maintain a current favorably adjudicated T5 or T5R background investigation at all times
      • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
      • Experience with assignment processes on multiple investigative contracts is required
      • Experience implementing a nationwide assignment strategy
      • At least seven (7) years of combined personnel security and background investigative experience at the state or federal level
      • At least five (5) years of management experience that demonstrates the ability to direct, execute, and control the performance of all work with detailed knowledge of daily assignment operations on all current contracts supporting the Vetting Solutions Division
      • Ability to analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions
      • Ability to plan and organize work
      • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally orally and in writing
      • Self-starter with proven leadership ability, as well as demonstrated success working with limited supervision while coordinating activities with security, field operations, quality assurance, and other program execution functions
      • Experience with program management on multiple contracts.
      • Strong customer service skills with ability to critically evaluate and resolve problems
      • All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical, and professional manner, and are to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from the Program Manager or authorized company representatives
      • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, including previous experience interfacing at all levels and with multiple departments virtually
      • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with short turnaround times
      • Prioritize and perform functions at varying levels to ensure contract compliance
      • Has an advanced understanding and ability to apply standards, principles, theories and technical concepts of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
      • Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, identifying and removing obstacles, and process execution
      • Remain flexible and receptive to policy changes, departmental changes and adjust accordingly
      • Excellent time management and administrative skills with the ability to prioritize and/or reprioritize daily tasks based on the needs of the program
      • Energetic and positive-minded with the ability to foster relationships with customers and all staff supporting with Vetting Solutions Division.
      • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to recognize patterns, trends and/or issues, identify key findings, determine conclusions and communicate all relevant information.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
      • Excellent computer skills and proven analytical skills
      • U.S. Citizenship (a requirement for a federal security clearance)
      • Ability to obtain to gain a Top Secret security clearance
      • Sense of mission in support of national security

      The proposed salary range for this position is:

      $82,100-$172,400
