About the Role
Catalog Management
As a Catalog Manager as part of RBS Instock Support Team, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy for managing Instock for Amazon Retail. RBS Instock Support team is looking for a bright, customer centric, driven, and creative candidate to join our team. You will interface internally with leaders of our Retail Instock Management, Vendor Management teams and product organizations and will be responsible for all aspects of the vendor’s business with Amazon. You will engage directly with multiple internal teams to optimize the product line for key manufacturers (vendors) on Amazon.com. You will utilize a wide range of skills and work across major functional areas such as buying, inventory management, finance, operations to drive the performance of strategic vendor partners at Amazon. In this role you will be focused on the strategic and operational aspects of managing the customer relationships with our Instock Managers. Also you will look into strategic and operational aspects of their business with Amazon, root cause analysis of issues and opportunities affecting the vendor’s business. You will be responsible for the team deliverables, meeting KPI/developing metrices and also developing and grooming talent within the team.
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities Include
- Success will be measured by the performance of your internal teams on input metrics and KPI
- Partnering with the Instock / Vendor Management Team and managing the vendor relationship by championing the vendor’s needs at Amazon
- Build communication channels at all levels, set proper expectations, provide clear status communications, and manage towards a growth plan for the program
- Build and execute on a strategic plan that delivers on key business opportunities for the vendors and Amazon
- Work with internal Amazon teams/vendors to improve operational aspects of their business in providing a great consumer experience
- Conduct deep dive analysis on the handled issues for the program and publish recommendations and drive action plans to closure based on data to improve program efficiency
- Provide thought leadership around planning, roadmaps and execution
- Establish long term partnerships with key stakeholders for the owned process / program
- Support the launches of new programs, categories and features
- Own hiring and developing a high performing team to deliver on operational goals as a people manager
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Bangalore, KA, IND- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- 2+ years of team management experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications, especially MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint at an advanced level
- Experience leading process improvements- Knowledge of databases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, MYSQL, and ETL Manager and working with large data sets
- Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma concepts
- Experience in managing critical operational processes, with SLA responsibilityAbout the company
