      Category Manager, Cross Category

      Work Mode: Hybrid

      Location: Hybrid - Kohler, WI (ideally Tues, Weds, Thurs Onsite @ HQ)

      Opportunity

      Kohler Co. is looking for a Category Manager with exceptional critical thinking skills and a passion for driving results to join the growing Cross Category team. You will be joining a strong global brand committed to living on the leading edge in design and technology of product and process. The Category Manager will execute a commercial and water management strategy to deliver financial results by driving sales and product mix in close collaboration with key stakeholders.

      Specific Responsibilities

      • Own P&L monthly including Risks & Opportunities for sub-category
      • Provide the inputs for the financial & S&OP forecast and is the primary POC in the weekly S&OE meeting for sub-category
      • Owns PMR metrics, insights, and actions based on reporting from sales enablement and/or finance for sub-category
      • Develop comprehensive pricing & promotional plan for sub-category and own short-term and permanent price changes
      • Product assortment: select and curate a range of products that align with channel needs and market trends.
      • Collaborate with brand & channel marketing to develop appropriate programs and promotions to deliver quarterly and annual results.
      • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategic marketing plans to boost sales.
      • Voice of the customer and first point of contact for sales
      • Line reviews and customer presentations
      • E&O and ABC classification
      • Own the commercialization process for cross category new product launches

      Skills/Requirements

      • Bachelor’s degree in any field. MBA preferred.
      • 5+ years of product, category management, and/or channel marketing experience with strong analytical and presentation skills
      • Hands-on, detail oriented, energetic and results-driven
      • Experience with Ecommerce focused product development and/or marketing
      • Experience with developing and executing GTM plans and activations

      Travel

      • Approximately 25% annually to tradeshows, customer visits or sales meetings.

      The salary range for this position is $98,900 - $125,600. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
