- Liaise with Culinary, Banquet Managers, Conversions, and Operations on event logistics.
- Consult with clients to determine catering needs, preferences, and budget.
- Conduct walks and conference calls with clients and vendors as necessary.
- Create event proposals, floor plan, and estimation of charges for clients based on specific event needs.
- Create and develop menus that meet client specifications while ensuring quality and safety standards.
- Create and distribute Banquet Event Orders.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience and/or training. Minimum of three years’ experience as a Catering Manager.
- Expertise in financial analysis and planning, budgeting, and marketing.
- Working knowledge of local and regional markets, venue operations, and special events industries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to effectively evaluate risks and liabilities of special events and stadium rentals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and word processing programs.
Ability to work non-traditional hours (nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.)

THE ROLE
The Catering Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of catering events. In addition to establishing and maintaining client relationships with all event groups & clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
