      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Facilitate the successful procurement of insurance authorizations for ordered procedures and post-operative care
      - Validate authorizations and provide continuous education and feedback to the multi-disciplinary team
      - Act as a centralized resource for assigned specialties across all practice sites
      - Ensure feedback on authorization procurement is effectively communicated to relevant staff
      - Apply process improvement methodologies to enhance workflow and patient satisfaction

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
      - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a medical clinic setting or corporate healthcare environment
      - At least two years of experience in healthcare insurance verification and/or billing
      - Knowledge of clinical terminology and coding practices
      - Strong oral and written communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Additional coursework in business, computers, or healthcare administration
      - Experience in a medical or surgical specialty clinic
      - Current working knowledge of hospital operations and managed care reimbursement
      - General understanding of revenue cycle processes, including billing and coding
      - Strong analytical and data management skills
