      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Facilitate the successful procurement of insurance authorizations for procedures and post-operative care
      - Validate work efforts and educate staff in ordering physician offices to ensure successful authorizations
      - Gather feedback from coding, billing, and denial management resources to promote continuous improvement
      - Act as a centralized resource for assigned specialties to standardize authorization procurement across all sites
      - Identify areas for performance improvement in day-to-day workflows and patient satisfaction

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of related experience or training
      - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a medical clinic or hospital setting
      - Two years of experience in healthcare insurance verification and/or billing
      - Strong knowledge of clinical terminology and coding
      - Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Additional coursework in business, computers, or healthcare administration
      - Experience in a medical or surgical specialty clinic
      - Current knowledge of hospital operations and managed care reimbursement
      - General understanding of the revenue cycle, including billing and coding
      - Strong analytical skills and experience working with management levels
