      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform all aspects of billing for Medical, Dental, and Behavioral Health claims
      - Enter codes and reconcile charges accurately and in a timely manner
      - Verify commercial insurance eligibility for assigned sites daily
      - Maintain and respect the confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA mandates
      - Communicate daily with providers and the billing team, ensuring effective coordination and support

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - At least 2 years of experience in healthcare billing and coding
      - AAPC/AHIMA certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coding (COC), or a diploma in medical billing
      - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and electronic email systems
      - In-depth knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes, Medicare and Medicaid billing rules, and claims appeal processes
      - Strong organizational and communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Associate's degree in Health Information Management Systems, Business, or a related field
      - Additional AAPC/AHIMA certifications, such as Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Outpatient Coding (COC)
