      Overview:
      Sentara Health is hiring for a Certified Medical Assistant for Member Outreach- Remote in VA

      Status: Full-Time, permanent position (40 hours)

      Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm EST, M-F.

      Location: Remote in Virginia only

      Job responsibilities:
      • Productivity- Need to make calls daily (40 calls/day); 90% outbound/ 10% inbound
      • Will use EPIC and JIVA and QNXT
      • Schedule member appts for member annual wellness visits
      • Updating member charts and putting notes for primary care, for refilling prescriptions or any necessary care that is needed immediately
      • Scheduling telehealth if needed


      Education:
      • High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
      • BLS REQUIRED within 90 days of hire.


      Certification/Licensure:
      • CCMA- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant or CMA- Certified Medical Assistant or RMA- Registered Medical Assistant or EMT- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) REQUIRED


      Experience:
      • 1 year Clinical/Administrative experience REQUIRED
      • Customer Service/Front Desk experience acceptable
